An Honest Online Shop Review: Lazada

I work from home, and I barely get the chance to go out. Like in a week, i only get to let the sun touch my dark but beautiful skin (LOL) for about 5 minutes. Seriously, I got tired going out and just see the world through surfing the Internet. 


But mind you, I am updated with the latest news in the neighborhood. Our helper Yayay Melds always takes a lot of gossips and controversies every time she comes to our house.


Anyway, because of this heavy a** of mine, which is really not that big as you thought (I'm just lazy), I do my shopping online.




These days I am so fond with LAZADA Philippines. The main feature that attracted me the most is the FREE SHIPPING considering that I am from Negros Occidental.





Their products really caught my eye, especially their SMALL APPLIANCES category.


So, I signed up for the site. They gave me a 200 worth of discount coupon, but I wasn't able to use it because I have to buy 2000 pesos worth to use it. I was dismayed. I don't want to gamble my 2000php for my first purchase.


One day, I received an email from LAZADA telling me that I will receive 500php worth of coupon if I answer the survey. So, I clicked on the link and started answering.It only took me about 5 minutes. Then, voila! I got the 500 coupon! The best thing is that I can use it with only 500 worth of purchase. WHOA!


Because I was too excited, I hurriedly browse on the site and choose these items:

Caribbean Electric Airpot CAP-3000/ST 3L at 789 php 

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder (Strike A Pose Rose) at 390php

So, its  789 + 390 = 1,179 php - 500 (coupon) = 679php

Yay! With 679, I could get two of my most favorite items!

Unfortunately, because of too much excitement, I forgot to encode the coupon code and ended up paying the FULL amount. :( So stupid me. 

The best thing though is that I got the airpot the next day. I ordered at 8am and got it about 2pm the next day through LBC.

However, I only received one item at that time. I panicked, like wtf! I paid the full amount of this and I only got one??? I waited for two more days before I called Lazada's customer service. Their representative named CLINT explained that they sent me the first item because they wanted me to be happy (kidding). They actually shipped one item ahead because it was available at that time and the other one is yet to come.

So I waited for a few more days and finally got my illuminating powder. I so love it! Gonna make a review for that product next time.

Anyway, despite not having them on time, at least I have proven that LAZADA is legit. LOL. I mean, they do send you the exact items as you ordered. Look...

Ok, so you must be wondering what happened to my coupon. here's the next story. 

I only got 5 days more before the coupon expires. I, again, caught myself distracted from work and browsing at Lazada's site. These two items got me again.

I was attracted with this one because of the free transistor radio. Yayay Melds was so happy to see the free item and convinced me to buy it.

It's 350 php.





And since I am a coffeeholic, I also ordered this Kyowa Coffemaker (out of stock for now). 

Coffeemaker at 650 php. Total amount of purchase is 1,000 pesos minus the 500 coupon discount, so I only paid amazingly 500 pesos for these two items! and yeah, I got it right this time. I used may EON account to pay for it. Don't worry, its safe. For two transactions, I never had any problem with my account. Lazada only gets what's due. Unless you are too excited like me that you forget to encode the COUPON CODE.



After 3 days, I got the coffee maker first. This time, I did not complain. I am confident that the other item will be coming up. I was right. Three days later, I got the LED lamp. But... where's the free item???



I freaked out. I only bought that LED lamp even if I don't like it just because of that radio. Again, I sent email to Lazada asking about the undelivered free item. WOW! I got it in two days! Lazada really shipped the free item separately, which is really amazing!

Those are the stuff I bought from LAZADA. Aren't they nice? I just hope though they won't stop the FREE SHIPPING services for faraway provinces like mine.


I realized, I bought four items and LAZADA shipped each item separately including the free radio. I only spent less than 3,000 pesos for all these items. I think LBC charges more than 100 pesos for each package.


I salute LAZADA for their services. Although some items are shipped a little late, you can definitely get it!


TIPS:

• If you have a coupon, do not forget to encode it when you check out. Make sure you click "USE" so that it will be subtracted on your purchase. Otherwise, you will end up like me. LOL

• If you have complaints, do not send it to the company's customer service email address. You'd better use their site. Click on HELP, then the address http://www.lazada.com.ph/contact/.  This will direct you to a form where you can fill out your complaints.Trust me, this way is better than calling their customer service. LOL 

I hope my blog helps online shoppers out there who are skeptical about buying from Lazada.
